On May Dnipro will host 3rd INTERPIPE Dnipro Half Marathon which for the second time in a row will include the 2 km charity race.
The charity fundraising has become an integral part of the running events by Run Ukraine, which anyone can join. It is easy to finish the 2 km at your pace even without any special training.
The goal of the charity race within the 3rd INTERPIPE Dnipro Half Marathon 2018 is to raise funds for the purchase of rehabilitation equipment for Dnipro Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, namely it’s orthopedic department. 50% of the entry fee will be transferred to the charity cause.
Last year during the 2 km charity race at the 2nd Interpipe Dnipro Half Marathon the participants and the partners of the charity
race were able to raise 72 250 UAH for the purchase of athletic arm prosthesis for ATO veteran Ruslan Muraiev.
Registration for the 2 km charity race is open on the official event website dniprohalfmarathon.org.
Traditionally INTERPIPE Dnipro Half Marathon takes place with the support of Dnipro City Council, Dnipro City Athletic Federation and its president Maryna Filatova.
The courses of 3rd INTERPIPE Dnipro Half Marathon were created for athletes of various levels of training: 2 km, 5 km, 21.0975 km and relay races.
