Ukrainian Majors Running League Regulations 2022
Ukrainian Majors Running League from Run Ukraine is a series of races held throughout the calendar year in different cities of Ukraine.
In the season of 2022, the Running League will include five large-scale races – one in Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, and two events in Kyiv.
Taking place in April, as usual, Kyiv Half Marathon will open the season. It will be followed by races in Dnipro and Lviv, a September race in Odesa, and the closing event of 2022 is Kyiv Marathon which will celebrate its 13th anniversary.
The calendar of the Ukrainian Majors Running League 2022:
- April 9-10 — 12th WORK.UA KYIV HALF MARATHON
- May 22 — 7th INTERPIPE DNIPRO HALF MARATHON
- June 5 — 7th LVIV HALF MARATHON
- September 11 — 7th TAVRIA V ODESA HALF MARATHON
- October 15-16 — 13-th WIZZ AIR KYIV CITY MARATHON
Ukrainian Majors Running League 2022 is created for amateur runners. The runners may participate in different events on the courses of 21.0975 km to 42.195 km — and accumulate points according to race results. The winners among men and women with the highest score will be determined at the end of the season.
The points are assigned depending on the distance, result compared to other athletes, and the time spent on finishing the distance. All amateur runners who participated in at least one Running League event on the courses of 21.0975 km or 42.195 km throughout the calendar year are included in the Ukrainian Majors Running League ranking.
Participants who finish all five races will receive the sixth medal of a Finisher of Running League 2022.
