On May 20 Dnipro will host a large-scale running event – 3rd INTERPIPE Dnipro Half Marathon. Because of this, some streets will be closed for traffic along the routes of the running event on the eve of the event and on the actual day of the race.
Closing streets for traffic is one of the requirements of holding a large-scale running event. This way about 3,000 participants of the event, which includes children, elderly people and disabled people, will be guaranteed safety on the route of the race. This year the organizers of the event, the Run Ukraine company, gave up the 10 km course to reduce the time streets will be closed for traffic.
The organizer of the Dnipro half marathon, the Run Ukraine company, recommends the drivers to plan ahead their routes around the city and develop alternative routes taking into account the list of the streets closed for traffic.
May 19:
Preparatory works take place on this day.
Dmytra Yavornytskoho avenue (both sides from the intersection with Hrushevskoho street to intersection with Korolenka street) will be closed for traffic from 12:00 p.m. on May 19 until 07:00 p.m. on May 20.
May 20:
On the day of the large-scale running event, the following streets will be closed for traffic:
Dmytra Yavornytskoho avenue from 07:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Kharkivska street from 07:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Mahdeburzkoho Prava street from 07:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Sholom Aleikhem street from 07:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Uspenska Square from 07:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Lyvarna street from 07:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Sicheslavska Naberezhna Street from 07:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Yuliusha Slovatskoho street from 07:00 a.m. until 12:40 p.m.
Oleksandra Polia street from 07:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Please, notice: the streets mentioned above will be closed for all kinds of traffic including public transportation and bicycles. The organizers of the race apologize for the inconvenience and invite the residents and guests of the city of Dnipro to come to the Race Village at the Heroiiv Maidanu Square to support the participants from all over Ukraine and the world. Anyone is welcome to join the big festival of running.
