On April 1 Dnipro begins a series of free running training sessions Open Run Day, which would be held for the second year in a row on the eve of the large-scale running event – Interpipe Dnipro Half Marathon. Every Saturday, at 9:00 a.m., the lovers of running and fitness will meet up at different locations to reach a common goal – to get ready for Dnipro half marathon, to be held on May 28.
The first training session will take place at the Festival Dock. Everyone can choose a group depending on their level of training. Open Run Day sessions are designed for participants of an average level of training who plans to run the course of 5 or 10 km, as well as athletes getting ready to conquer the main course of Interpipe Dnipro Half Marathon 2017 – 21.0975 km.
The best coaches of the running club Start Dnipro, co-organizers of the event, will help the participants get ready. The first training session will be coached by:
- Viacheslav Prykhodko – a professional athlete, a marathon runner with twenty years of coaching experience, master of sports in athletics, world champion among veterans in the age group “35-40”.
- Anatolii Tverdokhlib – candidate of master of sports in athletics, winner of international competitions in athletics in Poland (2004.), Winner of the Championships of Ukraine.

FAQ about Interpipe Dnipro Half Marathon 2017
Interpipe Dnipro Half Marathon 2017 is the second international half-marathon, organized by Run Ukraine, with the support of the City Council of the Dniro, Dnipro Athletics Federation and namely its president Maryna Filatova.
The event is one of the five stages of Run Ukraine Running League 2017, which includes races in four cities of Ukraine. This year, the organizers of INTERPIPE Dnipro Half Marathon plan to have about 2,600 participants and 8,000 spectators and fans.
